Special Privacy Terms for Processing Children's Photos for Personalized Books

Our service allows you to create personalized children's books based on photographs of your child. Because children are a highly protected category under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we apply the strictest privacy and security standards to ensure your child's data is completely safe.

1. Purpose of Data Collection The photographs you upload to our website are used EXCLUSIVELY for analyzing facial features to generate a custom illustration for your personalized book. We will never use these photographs for marketing purposes, nor will we publish them anywhere without your explicit, separate, and written consent.

2. Strictly Parental Consent This service may only be used by the parent or legal guardian of the child. By uploading a photograph to our platform, you confirm under legal liability that you hold parental responsibility and have the full right to consent to the processing of the child's image for this specific purpose.

3. Third-Party Data Processors (AI & Printing Partners) To provide this service, we share necessary data with strictly vetted third-party service providers (Data Processors) operating under strict data protection standards:

• Cloud AI Infrastructure Providers: We use enterprise-grade AI API services to analyze the uploaded photograph and generate the illustration. Data is transmitted securely via encrypted API. It is contractually and technically strictly prohibited for our AI service providers to use your child's photographs to train public AI models. Data is processed temporarily and strictly for fulfilling your order.

• Print-on-Demand (POD) & Logistics Partners: Once the book layout is finalized, the print-ready digital file (containing only generated artwork, not original photos) along with delivery information (Name, Address, Phone Number) is transmitted to our international print-on-demand fulfillment partners. These partners process this data solely for printing and shipping the product to your door and are bound by strict GDPR compliance agreements.

4. Data Retention and Automatic Deletion We practice strict data minimization.

• Original Photographs: The original photos of your child are automatically and permanently deleted from our active servers within [72 hours] after the final book file is successfully generated.

• Generated Book Files & Order Data: The final generated PDF files and associated order data are kept for [14 to 20 days] after the successful delivery of your physical book. This is solely to allow time for potential customer support inquiries, reprints, or damage claims. After this period, all files are permanently erased.

5. Your Rights as a Parent You have full control over your child's data. At any time before the book is sent to production, you have the right to withdraw your consent and request the immediate deletion of all uploaded photos and generated files.
